Avelina Guggenbuehl

Avelina Guggenbuehl was born on March 12, 1934 in Brady Texas to Eduardo and Mariana Castro and passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 in Richardson, Texas. 

Avelina is preceded in death by her parents and husband Richard Guggenbuehl, siblings Odilia Castro Cervantes, Rodolfo Sanchez Castro, Demetrio Sanchez Castro, Alicia Castro DeHoyos, Tomasita Castro Spicer, and Eduardo Sanchez Castro.

Avelina is survived by sister, Irma Elia Castro Carpenter her children, son Paul Guggenbuehl and wife Merritt, son Steven Guggenbuehl and wife Kelly, and daughter, Gina Watkins and husband Lynn . She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

Avelina worked for many years at the City of Garland in billing and the Police Department. Avelina enjoyed dancing and singing and spending time with her family.
