Allen attended Austin High School in El Paso, where he enjoyed playing both baseball and football. Following graduation, he joined the United States Navy in 1961. During his four years of active service, he served aboard the USS "Henderson" during the Vietnam War, proudly serving his country.

Throughout his professional life, Allen worked primarily in sales, spending the majority of his career in the insurance industry. His years in sales allowed him to build relationships and connect with people from all walks of life.

Beyond his career, Allen found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time on the golf course, enjoying the game and the camaraderie that came with it. He also had a special passion for cooking and sharing his Mexican recipes with family and friends. Food was one of the ways Allen brought people together, passing along cherished recipes and creating memories around the table. Those who shared meals with him will remember not only the food but also the love and tradition behind it.

On March 15, 1996, Allen married Diane England in Dallas, Texas. Together, they shared a life and created memories that will continue to be treasured.

Allen is survived by his beloved wife, Diane; his brother, Eddie; his children, Michelle McMullen (Ken) and Kurt Gonzalez (Rosa); and his stepsons, Wayne England, Michael England, and Bobby England (Brenda). He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Annabelle, Luke, Alexandria, and Jennifer, who will carry his memory forward. His family was an important part of his life, and the memories they shared will remain a lasting source of comfort and love.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Librado Arnold Gonzalez and Carrie Cullen Gonzalez; his two sisters, Penny and Patricia; and his daughter, Nicholle.

Allen's life was marked by his service to his country, his dedication to his work, his love of golf, and his enjoyment of cooking and sharing family traditions. He leaves behind a legacy reflected in the relationships he built, the meals he shared, and the memories that will continue to bring smiles to those who knew him.

Though his passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him, his memory will live on through the stories shared, the traditions passed down, and the love that remains. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
