Armando Padron Cantu

Armando Padron Cantu, age 67, of Irving, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 27, 2017. He was born on March 29, 1948 in Robstown, Texas. Armando was the husband to Rosa Cantu and father of 7 wonderful daughters: Maria Lupe Puzzo, Gracie Gnader, Gloria Cantu, Julie Gonzales, Sandra Cantu, Amanda Cantu, Terri Garcia as well as 22 grandkids and 9 great-grandkids. He is also survived by his brother and sisters: Juan Cantu, Sulema Martinez, Blanca Holder, and Norma Lusk along with nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Vasquez Cantu and Guadalupe Padron Cantu, brother Ruben Cantu, sisters Gracie Cantu, Marylou Cantu, Dalia Carbajal, and niece Cynthia Martinez. Family will receive visitors at Charles W Smith & Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, February 5, 2017, from 5-7pm. A second visitation will be held at Charles W Smith & Sons Funeral Home on Monday, February 6, 2017, from 10am-12pm. A graveside service and burialwill follow at Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Lowry Crossing, Texas.
