Arlon Fowler was born on March 7, 1923. He came into this world in a small farm house in West McKinney. He was the third of four brothers.
Mr. Fowler attended school in McKinney, graduating from Boyd High School. He married Euna Dunn on August 10, 1944. They were life long members of First Baptist Church in McKinney, Texas. Mr. Fowler was preceded in death by his father, mother, and three brothers. He is survived by his son, Keith Fowler, grandson Alex Fowler, and granddaughter Jill Kilpatrick and great-grandsons Levi and Logan Hammonds, great-granddaughter: Fallon Mae Jameson. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 14, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 601 S. Tennessee Street, McKinney, Texas 75069 (972) 562-7788.
Rev. Sidney Brandon will officiate. Burial will be in Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas.
