Annabelle McGuffey Dixon, age 76, of Sachse, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026.

Annabelle was born and raised in Athens, Texas. After finishing high school, she attended Gulf Park Preparatory School in Mississippi before graduating from The University of North Texas with a degree in Education. She then moved to Garland before settling in Sachse. She was actively involved in local politics and served several years on the Sachse Library Board. Annabelle’s true passion was educating and working with children. She taught elementary school in the Garland Independent School District for 32 years. She was loved by all the students she taught and worked with, always bringing laughter and fun to their educational experience.

Grandchildren, Wesley Coleman Dixon, Taylor Marie Dixon, Regan Lynn Dixon, Drake Edward Dixon, and Bayleigh Ann Richardson
