Angela Jean Ambrusko, 49, passed away at 11:16 AM on May 27, 2026.
Born on December 1, 1976, Angela was the beloved daughter of Thomas (Michele) Ambrusko and Sharon Morris. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Rachel Ambrusko.
Angela is survived by her only child, Kyla (Korey) McRee; her brothers, Mark (Jennifer) Ambrusko and Joshua (Renee) Reynolds; her sister, Jeanine Holmes; and many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
In addition to the family she was born into, Angela was blessed with people who became family through love, friendship, and unwavering support.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Mark Ventura, who shared a special bond with Angela and remained one of her closest friends. Mark devoted himself to Angela's care during the last year of her life, providing unwavering support throughout her illness. His kindness, compassion, and selfless dedication were a true blessing, and he was, in many ways, an angel on Earth for Angela during her greatest time of need.
The family would also like to extend heartfelt thanks to Teresa Saldivar Ventura and her family for their steadfast support during Angela's battle. Their assistance, encouragement, and friendship brought comfort and strength to Angela and her loved ones during a difficult journey.
One of the greatest loves of Angela's life was her dog, Donte. Given to her during one of the most difficult periods of her life, Donte became her faithful companion and source of comfort. Angela adored him and never missed an opportunity to talk about him with anyone willing to listen. Their bond brought her joy, companionship, and unconditional love.
In the days since Angela's passing, people from every chapter of her life have reached out with stories and memories. One thing has been clear in every conversation: Angela was a joy to be around. She had a way of making people laugh, lifting spirits, and making even ordinary moments memorable. She loved fiercely, and if you were one of her people, you never had to question it. She made sure those she loved knew exactly how much they meant to her.
Angela had a soundtrack for every occasion and never missed a chance to sing, dance, or recommend a movie. Her CD and DVD collection could probably rival a small video store, and she never met a true-crime show she didn't love.
Though Angela's time on Earth was far too short, the love she shared and the lives she touched will never be forgotten. Her laughter, her music, her stories, and the fierce love she had for her family and friends will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
The family appreciates the kindness, prayers, and support received during this difficult time.
