Ambrosia Solis Cruz, residente de Dallas, Texas, fallecio pacificamente en la mañana de el 16 deAgosto de 2025 junto de sus hijos. Le sobreviven todos sus hijos, Roberto Solis, Eduardo Ortega, Javier Ordoñez, Zahayelli Reza, y Maria de los Angeles Ordoñez.
Ambrosia nacio en Tepetzintla, Veracruz el 7 de Diciembre de 1942 a sus padres, Raymundo Solis Hernández y Epigmenia Cruz Cruz. Tenia tres hermanos y dos hermanas, Jacinto, Juan, Roberto, Cenorina, y Guzman “Chunan”. Le encantaba su vida en el campo, los animals de granga, y las fogatas. Su profecion era de costorera. Era muy querida y buscada en su pueblo por su talento de coser varios tipos de ropa.
En el 1995 se vino a los Estados Unidos donde vivio el resto de su vida junto a cuatro de sus hijos y queridos nietos que le dician “Abue” ó “Bochita”. Era muy orgullosa de todos sus hijos.
Ambrosia le encantaba las flores de todos los colores, y cuidar plantas, tambien los pajaritos, le gustaba ver a la luna, y siempre tenia música tocando en su casa para cantar. Su musica favorita era el folklore, huapangos, y las rancheras, le gustaba los del Trio, los Voleros, y tambien le gustaba un poquito de Cognac! Era amistosa, le gustaba ayudar a la gente como pudiera, amable y humilde. Cuidaba a sus nietos con mucha ternura y amor. Le gustaba jugar la Loteria, el Toma Todo, y el Dominó, era muy buena al Domino, los dejaba sin una moneda! Le encantaba ah cocinar, su especialidad era el mole y los tamales que le gustaba preparer para ocaciones especiales, como para festijar los cumpleaños y la Navidad. Su mes favorito era el Octubre pero tambien no le gustaba el invernio porque era muy friolenta. Su placer favorito era un cafecito calientie con pan.
Ambrosia era una mujer de fe, devota a la iglesia y la virgen Maria. Le gustaba mucho cantar alabanzas y danzar. Y para ella lo mas importante, siguiente de su familia, era honrar nuestro
Salvador, Jesús Cristo.
Ambrosia Solis Cruz, from Dallas, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on August 16, 2025. She is survived by all of her children, Roberto Solis, Eduardo Ortega, Javier Ordoñez, Zahayelli Reza, and Maria de los Angeles Ordoñez. Ambrosia was born in Tepetzintla, Veracruz on December 7, 1942. Her parents were Raymundo Solis Hernández and Epigmenia Cruz Cruz. She had three brothers and two sisters; Jacinto, Juan, Roberto, Cenorina, and Guzman “Chunan”. To many, Ambrosia was known as “Bocha” or “Bochita”. She enjoyed her life on the ranch, some of her favorite aspects were the farm animals and spending time around a campfire. She was a seamstress by profession. In her town, she was known for and sought after for her skillful creations and alterations.
In 1995 she immigrated to the United States of America where she spent the rest of her life with her children and many grandchildren. She enjoyed many blessed years watching over her grandchildren with love and patience. Some of her favorite moments with friends and family were spent playing games like Dominos, “Loteria”, “Toma Todo”, and she would often win leaving everyone empty handed! Some of her favorite things were flowers of all kinds and colors, birds, she enjoyed taking care of house plants, and looking at the moon. She also loved singing and regularly had music playing in her home. Her favorite kinds of music were Mexican folklore, “rancheras”, and “huapangos”. Her favorite bands were “Los del Trio” and “Los Valeros”, and from time to time she enjoyed a little bit of cognac! Ambrosia was friendly, kind, and gentle, she liked to lend a helping hand wherever and however she could. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed spending time in her kitchen. Some of her most popular dishes were tamales and mole, she especially loved to prepare these plates for special occasions such as birthdays and Christmas. Her favorite month was October, however she was not a fan of the winter because she would easily feel cold! Everyone who knew her, knew her most favorite pleasure was being able to enjoy a warm cup of coffee with a side of bread.
Ambrosia was a woman of faith. She was devoted to attending church and loved the Virgin Mary. She loved to worship God by singing hymns and dancing. Over everything else, she gave honor and praise and glory to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
