Amanda Chasity Swigert unexpectedly left her family and friends Friday July 24, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Born August 8,1980, she was 45 years young. Amanda was a beautiful, caring daughter, mother, sister, Ama, friend and teacher.
Throughout her career, she served and advocated for many children as an elementary, middle and high school special education as well as a science and math teacher. Loving them as if they were her own and meeting every need for them she possibly could. Everyone who had the honor of knowing her was made better by her beautiful smile and her giving selfless ways. She was generous to a fault. Always showing up for others.
Amanda is survived by and is loved dearly by her parents Mike & Tammy Swigert
Children Madison, Bryson (Grace), Allyson, granddaughter Hazel. Brothers Robert (Brandi), Adam (Melinda) and 4 nieces Payton, Abigail, Ella & Hannah Boyfriend Brandon and several aunts, uncles, cousins, students, co-workers and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Mamaw Ruth Hamilton and grand parents Keith and Helen Swigert.
